The most wealthy and powerful individuals on the planet have mutual concerns and in spite of rhetoric about competition in the marketplace, these ruling elites have class interests in common and meet together through secretive unaccountable non- governmental groups to decide the policies that will advance their aims, potentially at the expense of the bulk of humanity.

Some of these groupings go by names like the Trilateral Commission, the Group of 30, the Systemic Risk Council, The Council on Foreign Relations, and the Bilderberg Group.

Bilderberg, in particular has evoked considerable intrigue in recent years, especially since the publication of Daniel Estulin’s 2005 book: The True Story of the Bilderberg Group . Estulin’s account reveals a network of the world’s most powerful people, comprising heads of state, leaders of industry and finance, military brass, European royalty, and select media figures, mostly men from North America and Western Europe, who engage each other annually, in person and in secret, in remote locations around the globe. No media coverage is allowed, no meeting minutes released to the public. Nevertheless, the policy decisions fleshed out through these meetings are passed on to governments who align their policies with these global elites, regardless of their partisan political affiliation.

So for example, in 1991, then Arkansas governor and aspiring US Presidential candidate Bill Clinton attended that year’s Bilderberg conference where he connected with tycoon David Rockefeller and was told that the North American Free Trade Agreement was a Bilderberg priority. Within a year of his inauguration, Clinton signed on to NAFTA.

The first Bilderberg meeting took place in Oosterbeek Netherlands, where prominent elites supposedly debated the future of the world.

Estulin built his research on private disclosures from what he calls ‘conscientious objectors’ from inside as well as outside the group’s membership.

In Estulin’s estimation, the group today constitutes a shadow government threatening to supplant the sovereignty of nation-states with one powerful corporate controlled global government.

Over the past decade and a half, independent investigators have been making a point of stalking these conferences and approaching the known participants to glean some insights into their plans, With more light being shone on these public gatherings of elites, the Bilderberg group has started to disclose their supposed itinerary of topics and guests.

This year’s Bilderberg conference was held in Montreux Switzerland. The guest list included the likes of Henri Castries, ,Chairman of the Paris-based Institut Montaigne, Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England, David Petraeus, retired US Army General and former CIA Director, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Mark Rutte, Dutch Prime Minister and leader of the far-right People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy, Bruno LeMaire, France’s Minister of Finance, and Eric Schmidt, technical advisor for Alphabet Inc, the parent company of Google Inc. Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were also known to be participating although they were not mentioned in the Bilderberg official guest list.

Official topics for discussion at the 4 day conference included “The Future of Capitalism”, “Russia”, “China”, “Weaponizing Social Media”, “BREXIT”, “What’s Next for Europe”; “Ethics of Artificial Intelligence” and climate change.

On this week’s Global Research News Hour radio program we do our best to ascertain the agenda of these global elites based on interviews with two informed sources.

In the first half hour, we hear from Canadian independent journalist Dan Dicks about his attempts to cover the 67th annual Bilderberg summit during the May 30-June 2nd weekend. Dicks outlines how this year’s conference differed from previous conferences he has covered, and speculates on a connection between the recent demonetization of his youtube channel and a conversation he had with one of the Bilderberg participants.

The Bilderberg Meeting is an annual gathering of prominent figures in finance, politics, journalism and academia from Europe and North America. This year’s summit will be the 67th, and approximately 130 attendees will be at the secretive meeting in Montreux, Switzerland. Rather than arrest or, at the very least, fire the vice principal, Superintendent Mike Kelley successfully lobbied the school board to change the rules retroactively to allow male faculty to spank teenage girls.

The Church of Satan has accused Christians of "loving pedophilia" as several pastors continue to back Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore in the wake of sexual assault allegations.

On its official Twitter account, the Church of Satan tweeted: "Christians love pedophilia." It a follow-up tweet, it said, "Child abuse is directly forbidden in The Satanic Bible, which members of the church follow, church reps said. "Christians however have been abusing children for centuries. They own this."

"Many of the people coming to the defense of Moore [will] decry the horrors of moral relativism but then equivocate when one of their own is cruising shopping malls for underage prey," Raul Antony of The Church of Satan told Newsweek. "Many of the comments we see from Christians even take the allegations as a given and excuse his behavior through the teachings of the Bible."

The Church of Satan, established in 1966, claims to teach atheism and follows The Satanic Bible, which prohibits sexual activity with children.

Republicans in Washington have urged Moore to step aside after the Washington Post published a report based on interviews with more than 30 people, saying Moore pursued relationships with teenagers while he was in his 30s. One woman said she was just 14 years old - below the age of consent - when Moore initiated sexual contact with her.

Some pastors have continued to defend Moore, including Dr. David Gonnella, pastor of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Theodore, Alabama, who is one of the more than 50 pastors who endorsed Moore's successful Senate primary runoff in September.

"I don't desert my friends just on mere accusations, I require evidence," Gonnella said, explaining he believes the accusations are part of a plot to derail Moore's campaign.

"Well perhaps satanically motivated, but politically carried out," said Gonnella in describing the allegations against Moore. "Why was everyone, all these people silent for so many decades [and] want to all come for[ward] at the same time now?"

However, the vast majority of Christian leaders have spoken out against sexual misconduct.

Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, condemned those who have used the example of Mary and Joseph in the Bible as a means to defend relationships between adults and teenagers

"My blood pressure has been elevated in recent days with people suggesting that even when such horrible things take place that it's the equivalent of Mary and Joseph -- no, it's not," Moore, who is not related to Roy Moore, said during an appearance on Anderson Cooper 360. "Or, as I heard one person say on television, I believe it was yesterday, that this would be a misdemeanor, so it would be the equivalent of stealing a lawnmower. Stealing a lawnmower? That's the most horrifying, sort of moral relativism that I can imagine, especially when we're living a country where there are so many women and girls who have their lives being crushed by powerful men who are using sexual advances, sexual assault against them."

He added, "We need to have the moral clarity to come out and say, 'Sexual assault is always immoral and always wrong.'"

When responding to someone who is sexually abused, Ed Stetzer, executive director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism, urged the Church to simply say, "I believe you" and show mercy.

NASHVILLE, June 14 (AP) — The three companies that insure a majority of Protestant churches say they typically receive upward of 260 reports a year of children younger than 18 being sexually abused by members of the clergy, church staff members, volunteers or congregants.

The figures released to The Associated Press offer a glimpse into what has long been a difficult phenomenon to detail: the frequency of sexual abuse in Protestant congregations.

Religious groups and victims’ supporters have been keenly interested in the figure since the Roman Catholic sexual-abuse crisis erupted five years ago. The church has said it has recorded 13,000 credible accusations against Catholic clergymen since 1950.

Protestants’ numbers are harder to come by and sketchier because the denominations are less centralized than the Catholic Church. Many congregations are independent, making reporting even more difficult.

Some of the numbers are from three insurers: the Church Mutual Insurance Company, the GuideOne Insurance Company and the Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company.

Together, they insure 165,495 churches and worship centers — mostly Protestant congregations — for liability against child sexual abuse and other sexual misconduct. They also insure more than 5,500 religious schools, camps and other organizations.

Church Mutual reported an average of 100 sexual abuse cases a year involving minors over the last 10 years. GuideOne said it had received an average of 160 reports a year for the last 20 years. Brotherhood Mutual reported an average of 73 reports of child sexual abuse and other sexual misconduct a year for the last 15 years. Brotherhood does not specify which victims are younger than 18, so it is impossible to accurately add that to the total cases.

The companies did not produce supporting documentation or a way to determine the reports’ credibility.

Reports of abuse do not mean guilt and do not necessarily result in financial awards, the companies said.

Amish in crisis as father faces trial for 'decade of sex abuse'

A married Amish man has been accused of sexually assaulting six girls, one his cousin, in a case that has plunged his insular community into crisis.

Over ten years, Chester Mast is said to have abused victims aged from five to 15.

The father-of-two, whose wife is pregnant, has denied allegations including incest, rape and sodomy and will stand trial later this year.

The case has thrown the spotlight on the U.S. Amish community after it was revealed that elders spent six years moving the 26-year-old around in an attempt to cure him, during which time he apparently continued his abuse.

Relatives had long suspected the apprentice carpenter, but called in police only when the scandal threatened to tear apart their community.

Asking for outside intervention is rare among the deeply religious congregation, which prefers to resolve disputes internally.

Mast's community is made up of 70 families and has been in Pike County, Missouri, since the 1940s.

They speak a Germanic dialect known as Pennsylvania Dutch, travel by horse and cart and survive by farming.

The town is 'Old Order', which is the most conservative type of Amish settlement.

Electricity is banned and residents have no access to cars, telephones, televisions or the internet, which they fear would destroy their simple way of life.

The Amish are a 250,000-strong sect, mainly descended from Swiss religious Mennonite groups who began migrating to the U.S. in the 18th century to avoid religious persecution and compulsory military service.

Mast is said to have committed his first attack when he was sent north to Wisconsin to become an apprentice carpenter with his uncle in 2004.

He allegedly raped a 13-year-old relative claiming it would cure her stomach ache.

He was sent away from the community, but later returned. Last year, he was excommunicated again after fresh claims about his sexual conduct. Again he returned.

Further concerns prompted him to be sent away for the third time earlier this year. Only then did the community turn to the Sheriff's Department.

During his excommunications Mast is said to have continued his abuse, including targeting girls who were not Amish.

'We seen this coming for years,' said Noah Schwartz, one of Mast's uncles. 

'The church worked desperately to get behind him, but it was a lost cause. I don't think we realised the seriousness of the crimes.'

The decision to turn Mast over to the police has split the community, however, with some still believing he should be dealt with internally. 

According to other elders, Mast has admitted his crimes to them during a ritual reconciliation with the church. But when he appeared in a conventional court, he pleaded not guilty.

For some, this means he is no longer an Amish, not because he stands accused of being a paedophile but because he has lied.

'Chester is lying, and that's worse than the sex crimes, because no sin is so bad that you can't recognise it and take total responsibility,' said Mr Schwartz, 60.

'We tried to work with it ourselves,' admitted Joseph Wagler, the bishop for a neighbouring church.

'We punished him, and he owned up to it. If he's going to act like this and not admit it in court, he's still going to have to answer to God.'

It’s not often followers of our infernal master, Satan, get to take the moral high ground, but the Church of Satan has done just that on the subject of child abuse.

The Church – based on the teachings of Anton Lavey – pointed out that child abuse is specifically forbidden in Lavey’s Satanic Bible. It is not forbidden in the Bible, the Church claims, and various Christian churches have been dogged by paedophile scandals over decades, Newsweek reports.

Commenting in the wake of the Roy Moore scandal in America – where Christian pastors endorsed the candidate despite abuse allegations, the Church said on Twitter, ‘Christians love paedophilia.’ Moore has been accused of sexual misconduct with two teenagers when he was in a man in his 30s.

The Church maintains a highly active and witty Twitter account which has more than 125,000 followers. Reverend Paul Antony of the Church of Satan told Newsweek, ‘Many of the people coming to the defense of Moore decry the horrors of moral relativism but then equivocate when one of their own is cruising shopping malls for underage prey.

‘Many of the comments we see from Christians even take the allegations as a given and excuse his behavior through the teachings of the Bible.’

Satanism and Child-Abuse

Allegations have been made, and continue to be made, concerning "Satanic" child-abuse - that is, the sexual abuse of children as part of Satanic rituals, practices and beliefs.

Genuine Satanism - like all genuine magick - is a path, way or method of individual selfdevelopment. Rituals may be and often are a part of this, but these rituals all conform to certain patterns: they are all intended to aid and explicate self-understanding and development, as well as enhance and develop certain 'Occult' abilities. Naturally, some rituals and methods are concerned with the individual experiencing certain emotions and, in Satanism, enjoying certain pleasures.

However, because of the aim of Satanism - to aid the attainment by the individual of magickal and personal understanding and thus promote evolution and self-mastery - this experiencing involves a conscious choice or decision by the individual. This makes Satanism of necessity an adult path or way - for genuine Satanism, of the traditional type, is not concerned with proselytizing nor "corrupting" others without their consent. Its concern - it must be repeated - is individual advancement arising from a conscious and free decision by the individual - anything else is not Satanic as it is not magickal. This free choice is part of all genuine Occult and magickal paths:

Initiation means this free choice, the decision to begin an inner quest. When there is no free choice about the matter, there is no genuine Initiation - whatever path or way is being followed. Where Satanism differs, is in its aim, the philosophy of life and the techniques used to achieve the aim - these make it a "Left Handed Path" (when viewed conventionally).

Thus, there cannot be any such thing as 'childhood Initiation' - nor participation by children under a certain age in any genuine magickal rituals. What there can be: what there often is - in genuine Satanism at least - is the simple dedication of infants by their parents to the darker path, and this involves only the appointing of guardians to watch over and care for the child(ren): "Do you, so chosen, pledge to guard and watch over this newborn and to teach them when the teaching time is right, our ways ..." (from 'The Ceremony of Birth' in "The Black Book of Satan"). The time for teaching is when the child, in accord with Satanic philosophy, can choose for themselves - sixteen years of age or thereafter - that is, when they have attained the threshold of adulthood.

Hence, there is not, and cannot be, any such thing as "Satanic" child-abuse: there can be no childhood 'initiation', no participation by children under a certain age in rituals, and no abuse, by adult Satanists, of children. This latter is important - Satanism is concerned with the individual gaining self-mastery and self-understanding. The abuser (whether of children, drugs or pleasures) is swayed by mostly unconscious desires and impulses - they may manipulate and try to control others who are susceptible, but they cannot control themselves, or even begin to understand their 'darker' side. In short, they are weak - and generally rather pathetic - individuals, although they may hide behind a "mask" or a "role". Such people are not Satanists, but rather failures. The Satanist aspires to self-mastery, self-overcoming: to knowledge...

The popular image of Satanism is a lie - a myth invented and fostered by those who have a vested interest in maintaining it. Organized religions and under-developed individuals need such myths, as they need stereotyped enemies: for only by such means can such people and such religions survive and flourish. Many believe, with that certainty that faith and fanaticism bring, the myths about Satanism and the more general myths about ritual 'child-abuse'. I and a few others like me can present the facts - in my case about Satanism - but it needs an unbiased mind, a certain mental freedom, to consider these facts as they should be considered, and then make an informed judgement about the matter. It is this freedom which a biased, religious intolerance destroys.

The real question about Satanic child-abuse (and ritual abuse itself) is thus a question about attitude, belief and commitment to reasoned thought and debate. Long after Science showed the Earth was not at the centre of the Universe, the Church - its ministers and its faithful - continued to believe otherwise, confirmed in their certainty of faith. Do we, now - concerning this question of Satanic child- abuse - return to the Dark Age of faith, of believing what certain Church people wish us to believe to bolster their religion and rather intolerant view of the world; or do we go forward to greater understanding based on an acceptance of the facts?

These facts show that Satanic child abuse - and ritual abuse itself - is a myth.

Conservative Christianity Has Enabled Pedophiles for Untold Decades

Stop me if you've heard this before: A deeply religious man, beloved by his church/community, targets and grooms a young child for sexual abuse. The child tells an adult and they report it to the elders of the church. The church investigates the abuse and then sweeps it all under the rug. The deeply religious man is never reported to the police, the victim is blamed for seducing the man, and the man goes on to molest many other children, leaving a trail of scarred families in his wake.

Your first reaction, naturally, is to assume that I'm talking about a Catholic priest because we all know the Church has a long and sordid history of covering for sexual predators. But, as the title of the article probably clued you in, this is far from a problem with just the Catholic Church.

Kathryn Joyce of The Nation published an article last week detailing the cycle of abuse and cover up in conservative Christian communities:

This burgeoning crisis of abuse has received far less attention than the well-documented scandal that rocked the Catholic Church. That’s in part because the evangelical and fundamentalist world, unlike the Catholic hierarchy, is diverse and fractious, composed of thousands of far-flung denominations, ministries, parachurch groups, and missions like ABWE. Among Christian evangelicals, there is no central church authority to investigate, punish, or reform. Groups like ABWE answer only to themselves.

The scale of potential abuse is huge. Evangelical Protestants far outnumber Catholics in the United States, with more than 280,000 churches, religious schools, and affiliated organizations. In 2007, the three leading insurance companies that provide coverage for the majority of Protestant institutions said they received an average of 260 reports per year of child sexual abuse at the hands of church leaders and members. By contrast, the Catholic Church was reporting 228 “credible accusations” per year.

Why do the most pious always seem to be the most prone to this kind of problem? Two reasons come to mind. The first is that they tend to be incredibly authoritarian. Conservatives defer to those in power and conservative Christians even more so. Add to that mix the fundamentalist demand for blind obedience and you have all the ingredients for disaster:

Like Catholics, fundamentalists preach strict obedience to religious authority. Sex is not only prohibited outside of marriage, but rarely discussed. These overlapping dynamics of silence and submission make conservative Christians a ripe target for sexual predators. As one convicted child abuser tells clinical psychologist Anna Salter in her book Predators: Pedophiles, Rapists, and Other Sex Offenders, “Church people are easy to fool.”  

In other words, the religion itself does not breed sexual predators but some variations of it create the most fertile ground for them to flourish. Like any other predator, they gravitate to bountiful and safe hunting grounds. Despite my own hostility towards religion as a militant atheist, I feel it's important to make this distinction because all too often, people equate the religion with the crime which is not really fair. On the other hand, it's perfectly reasonable, responsible even, to point out that it's the "conservative" part of "conservative Christianity" that lends itself most to creating those hunting ground which is why you don't see this kind of abuse proliferating in more liberal institutions:

Over the past five years, in fact, it has become increasingly clear—even to some conservative Christians—that fundamentalist churches face a widespread epidemic of sexual abuse and institutional denial that could ultimately involve more victims than the pedophilia scandal in the Catholic Church. In 2012, an investigation at Bob Jones University, known as the “fortress of fundamentalism,” revealed that the school had systematically covered up allegations of sexual assault and counseled victims to forgive their attackers. Sovereign Grace, a network of “neo-Calvinist” churches, has been facing multiple allegations of child molestation and sexual abuse. In 2014, a New Republic investigation found that school officials at Patrick Henry College, a popular destination for Christian homeschoolers, had routinely responded to rape and harassment claims by treating perpetrators with impunity, discouraging women from going to the police, and blaming them for dressing immodestly.

Despite the sexual abuse of women and the sexual abuse of children coming from very different kinds of darkness, the way these religious organizations respond is almost identical and that is not a coincidence. The reputation of the institution or group or even one man is considered far more important than the harm being inflicted on the victims. Justice is not even a consideration, especially when it's a woman that was "asking for it." At that point, it's not really a crime. If you think that's repulsive, these pious men can even convince themselves that little girls were asking for it, too.

In Joyce's article, she recounts how Russel Ebersole and Russell Lloyd, two of the higher ups in the Association of Baptists for World Evangelicalism (ABWE), investigated claims by a 13-year-old girl named Kim that she had been molested by a respected member of the community. It did not go well for Kim: 

As Kim struggled to answer their questions, the Russes became convinced that she was telling them the truth about Ketcham touching her. What they couldn’t believe, given fundamentalist precepts about the nature of sex and women, was that she was an innocent party. “It was lust in its most base form, uncontrolled in the body of a spiritually immature woman,” Lloyd wrote of the 13-year-old in his diary. Ketcham, he wrote, had become Kim’s “secret lover.”  

The Russes “strongly encouraged” Kim to sign a statement, styled as a confession, in which she apologized for her role in a “relationship” that “transgressed God’s word.” She didn’t understand much of it, but she signed it anyway. “I did exactly what I was told,” she says.  

Think about how warped and sick your worldview needs to be that you can consider a 13-year-old to be an equal partner in a sexual relationship with a 58-year-old man. Now think about how broken it would have to be to cover up the abuse and allow the man to continue molesting children for the next two decades. Now you have some tiny understanding of how twisted the mind of a Christian fundamentalist can be. 

The worst part about all of this is that it doesn't have to be this way. If religious leaders would go after sexual predators with both barrels blazing (metaphorically), they would be applauded for protecting their flock. Even I would go to the mat defending a church that exposed a predator as quickly as possible and helped bring the full weight of the law to bear. It's nigh-impossible to weed them out before they hurt someone (unless they have a prior history, of course) but that's true everywhere, not just for religious institutions. It's not the crime that defines your institution but how you respond to it. So far, conservative Christians desperate to protect their reputations have succeeded only in covering themselves in shame and putting the lie to their claims of virtue. 

Kim's story doesn't have a happy ending. Yet. Following 22 years of self harm and deep psychological damage, the full story came out in an extensive investigation. After years of being lied to by their church, Kim's parents didn't understand why their daughter was so damaged. Even Kim still blamed herself for the actions of a monster as well as her parents for not helping her. Now that it's all out in the open and Kim finally understands that she was a victim like so many other women, there's a chance for her and her family to heal. If only all of the victims of conservative Christianity were so lucky...

Dei codici, come indicato da Ciconte, non si conosce molto: “Eppure bisognerebbe saperne di più per

In other words the "lost sheeps" are not killed, but rather contacted one by one, being promissed better opportunities than those offered by the government. Women have been pawns of this reconquering technique, playing a very valuable role in getting their deviant men back on track. The reaction of women, when faced with their relative's choice to collaborate, is of great imoprtance for the success of collaboration itself. Supporting the man obviously facilitates the proccess of collaboration. Conversely, if not endorsed, or even sisowned by his wife and family, he can sometimes retract his statements.

Invoking the names Garibaldi, Mazzini and La Marmora in the opening is a Masonic reference, as are mention of the stars, the sun and the moon.

It was intended from the start to allow mafia bosses to join Freemasonry and vice versa, to facilitate more direct influence in civil society, the state and finance. “The very creation of the Santa was greatly influenced by the Freemasonry, with which the ‘Ndrangheta chiefs developed ties during the Reggio Calabria revolt of 1970,” writes Professor Letizia Paoli in Mafia Brotherhoods: Organized Crime, Italian Style (Oxford University Press, 2008).

According to the former chief of the Messina ‘ndrina, Gaetano Costa, Mommo Piromalli “who was famous for being a Mason, or – at any rate – extremely close to the Mason circles . .. introduced the rule … according to which any member of the Santa could join the Masonry”. And indeed, according to another mafia witness, Albanese, “all the santisti were part of the Masonic brotherhood or, at least, the chiefs of the Santa were full members.” (116).

Further evidence of masonic ties elucidated by Paoli is the fact that the ceremony – now confirmed in the video – is opened “’in the name Giuseppe Mazzini, Giuseppe Garibaldi, and Giuseppe La Marmora,’ three major figures of the Italian Freemasonry, who are personified during the same meetings by three santisti” (ibid). And not captured on tape, another initiation ritual – Fidelizzazione – is more overt:

…during the ceremony the officiant asks: “Do you know the family of the Masons?” The novice must answer: “No, but if necessary I embrace it with my skin, flesh and bones, swearing the loyalty asked of me to the family of the holy order of the Masons”. Furthermore, as in Masonic practice, while the new member’s name is communicated to all the existing members, theirs are initially not disclosed to him (ibid).

The creation of the Santa was analogous to the tradition within Italian Freemasonry to set up covered lodges or so-called black lodges (of the P2 variety) as an extra layer of secrecy:

As the pentito Giovanni Gulla points out, “the Santa, as a secret sect, is the exact correspondent of the covered Freemasonry vis-a-vis the official one”. In the same way as the secret lodges were formed in the Freemasonry, the Santa and the higher ranks were created to reinforce protection around the inner core of the association through secrecy. In this way, the Santa and the higher ranks functioned to remedy the ‘Ndrangheta’s traditional low degree of secrecy (ibid).




Indeed, in an arrest warrant of some 500 members during 1990s, prosecutors noted:

The [‘Ndrangheta’s] entrance into previously existing or ad hoc constituted Masonic lodges was the way to establish links with those social strata which traditionally adhered to the Masonry, that is, members of the liberal professions (physicians, lawyers, and notaries), entrepreneurs and politicians, representatives of state institutions, among them magistrates and members of the police forces. Through this link, the ‘Ndrangheta was able to find not only new possibilities for economic investment, but previously unconceived political outlets. Above all, that “covering,” accomplished in various ways and in various levels (diversions, lack of investigations, attacks of every kind to noncompliant magistrates, adjustments of trials, etc.), produced a substantial impunity, characteristic of this criminal organization, rendering it almost “invisible” to institutions, to such an extent that only a couple of years back it came to the attention of the national public opinion and of the most qualified investigative bodies (198-199).

The emergence of ‘Ndrangheta and the Cosa Nostra in the latter half of the 19th century was itself influenced by Masonry, the Carbonari, and the populist spread of insurrectionary secret societies. During the movement for Italian unification (Risorgimento) the nascent mafia’s organizational model was learned from political prisoners, Masons and Carbonari, mixing with traditional gangs in prison. Thereafter, according to historian John Dickie, they would operate as “Freemasonries of Crime.” Paoli highlights this fact as well. The “Fratellanza of Favara,” for instance, “one of the largest nineteenth-century mafia associations with branches in several towns and villages of the Agrigento province”:

… practiced rites and initiation procedures of Masonic derivation, explicitly referring to the “universal republic.” Likewise, the Stoppaglieri of Monreale allegedly used rites of a Masonic type, while its founder, Giuseppe Palmeri from Nicaso, was a member of Mazzini’s revolutionary movement for the independence and unification of Italy, which was also heavily influenced by the Freemasonry. The influence of liberal secret societies upon the formation stages of contemporary mafia associations is also echoed in the legends recounted by today’s mafia members. According to Tommaso Buscetta, for example, the current Cosa Nostra was once known as Carboneria – a clear reference to the liberal secret society bearing the same name (104).

The structure of ‘Ndrangheta is discussed in a UCL lecture by professor John Dickie. The Freemasonry of Crime, it turns out, has a hierarchy not all dissimilar to the 18th Century Bavarian Illuminati. The ‘Ndrangheta have a provincial boss (like Illuminati Provincials), under which there are local branches (Illuminati Prefects and Deans) with members divided into Major and Minor (Illuminatus minor and major) classes of initiates (2:30, 3:10, 4:34; 7:10). The Santa, I suppose could be likened to Regents, and the Senior Ranks, the Areopagites.

May 1st - The International Worker's Day is a plan for domination of thinking of the Orders

The international worker's day is marked by the Haymarket Massacre. The May Day, according to popular versions, started being celebrated in the virtue of a stop at the industry, promoted by thousands of workers world wide. In Chicago, the spring of the movement, received in May 1st, 1886 the biggest of the protest.

Chicago was the main industrial pole of U.S.A. and was marked by the union of the world wide workers leadered by Marxist ideologies, and Anarchists. The protests was marked by the union of sindicalists, socialists, communists, anarchists and in Chicago, the first day of the protest was under the red flag under the anthem of La Marseillaise, requesting the illuminist ideals.

During the protests was initiated a conflict between the police and the workers and it was known as the Haymarked Massacre, later on the Haymarked Martyrs.

By other way, May 1st was being prepared once century before, in 1776, when Adam Weshaupt formed the order of the Masters Illuminati.

Waishaupt was a freemason versed in the fields of his contemporary time philosophy. His charachter was marked by the extreme freedom of thinking and independence of opinion. Was graduated in Legislation in the Ingolstadt University, and later on, was teacher of Canon Law and Legislation University Doyen.

Adam Weishaupt chose the May Day to the foundation of the Order, followigin some numerical principles to the formation of this powerful cipher. First, the day was always celebrated by the primitive societies, following pagan traditions of the Pagan Spring. Aprin 30th was the night that was celebrated Walpurgisnacht, or the Night of the Saint Walburga (Catholic syncretism), refered to the Viking Goddess of Spring. Also, Beltane, the Celtic Festival or the Isis Festivals, which by Irish and the Scotish Gaelics was the celebration of Bel's Fire.

Etimology suggests that the celebration of the Bright Fire is the Baal's Fire celebration. And also, the symbol of the pointing circle that is a mark of the Order comes from the God Sun-Ra.

In the following 13 days after the night of Walpurgis, the maypole festivals was celebrated and lighted the fires for Baal, or the God Sun-Ra, as was known Saturn in the Roman culture, made in ancient times sacrifices to the harvest of the sprint was always full during whole year.

The brotherhood understood that, this date was full of symbolism and fertility of soil and, by analogy, fertility of free political thinking.

Adam contacted the Masonic Logre of Adolf Von Knigge, and together they founded the Bavarian Order of Illuminati in the magical night of Walpurgis, between april 30th and may, 1st in 1776. The rite of Weishaupt was introduced in the Great Bavarian Lodge and later in the Loges of the Great Orient in the French Masonry referred to the Illuminati and Illuminists thinking.

George Washington met Adam Weishaupt and was, for a while, associated to the Illuminati but, when in 1789, started the movements of French Revolution, Washington decided to get far from the Order, maintaining his association exclusively to the freemasonry.

No doubut that his ideals influenced the France between 1789 and 1799 with the Order's ideals of political thinking and the unity. The publical appearance of Deutsche Einheit (German Unity) expanded the propaganda of Illuminati between the circle of lectures where bord the clamor of "Liberty, Equality and Fraternity".

Around 90 years later, the ideas of Illuminati reborn vigorous in America. The fact of may 1st was worldwide consacrated to the workers wasn't coincidence. The date of 1886 made resonance to the plans of Waishaupt to the renaissance of the ideals of freedom. That movement in Chicago made to remember that century ago, the same date appeared in USA Dollar under the sign of the date in roman algorithms and the pyramid under the Eye of light, carryng the banner of Novus Ordo Seclorum.

May Day and the Posthumous Influence of the Illuminati

Beltane Fire Festival; Zoroaster Fire TempleSecret societies do nothing without multiple layers of esoteric meaning; symbolism is of vital importance. It was in this tradition that Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati on May 1st, 1776. When we look at the doctrine of the Illuminati, it becomes clear that the choice of May Day for its birth was no coincidence.

Weishaupt was well aware of the pagan celebrations that had been practiced for thousands of years on the first of May—which were maintained in some form up to Weishaupt’s time, and still continue to this day. Beltane, as it is known in the British Isles, marks “the midpoint in the Sun’s progress between the vernal equinox and summer solstice.” The etymology of the word means “bright fire”, “bale-fire” or “Baal’s fire”. The festivals on May 1st literally stem from a form of sun and fire worship.

“Beltane is one of the four Celtic Fire festivals, and is probably the second most important festival next to Samhain. Beltane is primarily a sun festival and was performed during the day. The most important part of Beltane was the kindling of the fires. The Irish Celts would extinguish their fires the night before and would eat a cold meal to insure that all fires were out. Then they would attend the ceremony, returning with an ember to once more start their fires. The fire festival later evolved into the Celts driving their cattle through two fires to purify the herd. This was done to insure good health of the cattle for the coming year. Modern day pagans will jump over the Beltane fires, though very few actually know why they do so.”

“Beltane, in Irish, or Bealtuinn Scottish Gaelic. The original meaning is ‘Bel’s Fire’ which designates it as one of the major Fire Festivals. Bel is sometimes refered to as the God of ‘Light.’ He is also known as Beli or Belinus and may be traced to the Middle Eastern god Baal. Some Beltane customs are also very similar to the old Roman feast of flowers, the Floriala.”

A few days prior to Bealtine season, every flame was ordered extinguished, to be relighted on the first of May by holy fire drawn directly from the sun. Of fire-worship Toland observes:

“On May-day the Druids made prodigious fires on these cairns, which being every one in sight of some other could not but afford a glorious show over a whole nation. These fires were in honor of Beal, or Bealan, Latinized by the Roman writers into Belanus, by which name the Gauls and their colonies understood the sun, and therefore, to this hour, the first of May is, by the aboriginal Irish, called la Bealtine, or the day of Belan’s fires. May-day is likewise called la Bealtine by the Highlanders of Scotland, who are no contemptible part of the Celtic offspring. So it is with the Isle of Man: and in Armorica a priest is called Belee, or the servant of Bel, and the priesthood Belegieth.”

There’s two reasons why May 1st was chosen as the founding of the Order of the Illuminati. The first being that fire worship was central to the celebrations on that day. And likewise, fire-worship was to be the basis of the highest mysteries of the Illuminati. Weishaupt had written to his devoted disciple Zwack, that he is “warming up the old system of the Ghebers and Parsees …”

“The allegory in which the Mysteries and Higher Grades must be clothed is Fire Worship and the whole philosophy of Zoroaster or of the old Parsees who nowadays only remain in India; therefore in the further degrees the Order is called ‘Fire Worship’ (Feuerdienst), the ‘Fire Order,’ or the ‘Persian Order’ – that is, something magnificent beyond all expectation.”

Maypole dancersThe second reason for the founding date of May 1st relates to the fact that in communications between members of the Order, the word Illuminati was to be symbolized by a point within a circle: ☉. This has always represented the sun, probably before writing was even invented, and the Egyptians used it thousands of years ago as the Hieroglyphic symbol for the sun-god Ra. The May Day festivals were an enactment of both sun and fire worship; so May 1st—giving the overt symbolism of the Order—was a perfect day (symbolically) for the founding of the Illuminati. The connection between the point within a circle and May Day celebrations is also manifested by the practice surrounding the Maypole.

La Marseillaise

The song that eventually rallied revolutionaries, and became the national anthem of France, originated with a member of the Illuminati: Philippe-Frédéric Baron von Dietrich (1748-1793), code name Omarius. Dietrich was the Mayor of Strasbourg in 1790, 1791 and 1792. He was a victim of the French Revolutionary Reign of Terror, and guillotined on December 29th, 1793 in Paris. He was replaced by Eulogius Schneider (Jacobin and Illuminist, public accuser before the revolutionary tribunal) who became the tyrant of Strasbourg and the conductor of public executions.

In 1792, as news reached Strasbourg of the German Monarchs’ declaration of war on Revolutionary France, Dietrich commissioned a young engineer, Claude-Joseph Rouget de Lisle, to write a patriotic song to rally the people: Chant de guerre pour l’armée du Rhin (War song for the Rhine Army). The revolutionaries, however, adopted the song for themselves, calling it La Marseillaise. The significance of this anthem is that it became the battle cry for French revolutionaries in the 18th century, the 1848 French Revolution as well as future communists and anarchists. In Chicago, the Haymarket Square rioters of 1886, for instance, sang the song during the first May Day workers’ rally. As Oscar Ameringer declared: “Only red flags were carried in that first May Day parade, and the only song we sang was the ‘Arbeiters Marseillaise,’ the battle cry of the rising proletariat. Even the May Day edition of the Arbeiter Zeitung was printed on red paper.”

International Workers’ Day

It was that first May Day protest which is commemorated by Unions, Communists and Anarchists worldwide as Labor Day or International Workers’ Day. The Marseillaise was sung that day in Chicago, and the Red Flag was flown. The strikes continued and on May 4th there was a tragedy: an anarchist threw a makeshift bomb into a crowd of police, killing one officer instantly while seven more later died of injuries. The police opened fire wounding twelve protesters and killing four.

All this is a part of history and there is much information on the web about the Haymarket Massacre, the subsequent arrest and execution of the “Haymarket Martyrs”, etc. But why was May 1st chosen for the strikes in the first place?

It was no accident that the illegal immigration movement chose May Day for their demonstrations. Likewise, it is clear to me that the date adopted for the 1886 protests was no accident either. In our time, as before, the chosen date is a symbolic gesture.

On the surface May 1st, 1886 seems to have been chosen arbitrarily. As the story goes, in 1884 the U.S. Federation of Organized Trade and Labor Unions:

…passed a resolution which asserted that “eight hours shall constitute a legal day’s work from and after May 1, 1886, and that we recommend to labor organizations throughout this district that they so direct their laws as to conform to this resolution”.

Employers refused the ultimatum.

“On May 1, 1886, workers took to the streets in a general strike throughout the entire country to force the ruling class to recognise the eight-hour working day. Over 350,000 workers across the country directly participated in the general strike, with hundreds of thousands of workers joining the marches as best they could.”

The U.S. Federation of Organized Trade and Labor Unions began in 1881 and stemmed from the British Trade Unions. The US branch was co-founded by Samuel Gompers, and he was in charge of the committee that decreed the May 1st ultimatum. Gompers was born in England in 1850, and was “heavily influenced by Karl Marx“.

“… a student of socialism. With colleagues like P.J. McGuire, Hugh McGregor, Adolph Strasser, and J.P. McDonnell (all of whom would become longtime associates) he participated in meetings of the International Workingmen’s Association, the Economic and Sociological Club, and the Workingmen’s Party of the United States.”

– Who was Samuel Gompers, Anyway?

Not only was Gompers attending meetings of Karl Marx’s communist International Workingmen’s Association (First International); he was also initiated into its inner circle, Die Zehn Philosophen, in 1873. This inner core of “ten philosophers” can be likened to a society within a secret society, as was the modus operandi of the Illuminati itself. Gompers—an “Areopagite” in the first international communist movement—would be the guiding hand, less than 10 years later, in the decision to mobilize the “proletariat” into action on the sacred Illuminati date of May 1st.

Socialists today would have you believe that the Haymarket riots were the catalyst for the 8-hour workday, when in actuality all that the violence accomplished was to delay the implementation of workers’ rights: “The Haymarket Riot branded as ‘radical’ the eight-hour-day movement and diminished popular support for organized labor.”

Similar staged agitation, with identical Hegelian consequences, was witnessed in Gompers’ native England during the middle of the 1800s:

Nearly the whole of the loss arising from strikes fell on the innocent and industrious labourers, willing and anxious to work, but deterred from doing so by the threats of the unions, and the dark menaces of an unknown committee. The mode in which these committees acquire such despotic authority is precisely the same as that which made the Committee of Public Safety despotic. Terror—terror—terror

It began to be common talk that among trades associations there was systematic terrorizing of the worst kind, and that a Vehmgericht more secret and more grim than any known to the middle ages was issuing its sentences in many of our great industrial communities.

Nesta Webster recounts how, “during the years of 1834 to 1860,” grievances broke out in Scotland and England with hitherto unknown ferocity. Uncooperative workers were murdered and their houses burnt down.
